ILGCA 1st Year Birthday Bash
Saturday, October 5th from 9:30am to 8:00pm
ILGCA turns 1 on October 4th! We wanted to celebrate this big milestone. What better way to do it than with a birthday bash?! And who else would we want to join us than all of you! Come when you can and stay as long as you can. We will update this announcement as more information and activities get added so keep stopping by and see if something new has popped up.
When: Saturday, October 5th, 2024 9:30am – 8:00pm
Where: Lutheran Church of the Cross – 2025 S Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60005
Who: All of you of course
What: We start with a pancake breakfast at 9:30am. There will be lunch around noon and dinner around 5:00pm with s’more and a bonfire at 7:00pm (exact times subject to change). We will have both indoor and outdoor games, movie showings, silent auction, corn hole tournament, cache building workshop, plus puzzle solving, caching 101, and cache placing workshops. There will also be a selfie booth with fun trackables as props that you can also find – plus other surprises and smileys to be revealed once you arrive.
Cost: We are asking for suggested donations of $10 at the door per meal. If you would like to join our cache building workshop we will have a donation basket to help cover materials. If you would like to participate in the official corn hole tournament there will be a registration fee of $10 per group of 2 people to cover prizes. Everything else = FREE
All donations and sales from the silent auction go toward funding this event, and hopefully others, along with maintaining our association and keeping our lights on.
